BIT had organized a technical event Aahvan’08 during 26-27th March,
2010 at Varnama Campus. It was inaugurated by Shri Rakesh Asthana (IPS) (The
Commissioner of Police, Vadodara). The function was graced by Shri
Dilip Bagadia (CMD, Low loss Pvt. Ltd) , Shri. Kunjal L. Patel (MD,
Voltamp Pvt. Ltd) and Shri Girish Tarwani (DGM, Jyoti Ltd.) were Guests of Honour.
Aahvan’10 had
participations not only from India but also from out of
country. The
post Aahvan'10 was been witness by about 2000 ecstatic crowd in
celebration. This celebration is hosted by DJ-NYK with melodious
remixes.

The celebration was
participated by about 1600 students.
Aahvan’10 was organized with events such as ROAR of ROBOTS, MICROVOLT,
CYBER CODES, MECHANISM, TORMENTA ELECTICA, TETRIS, SCHOOL BAG, BITE
-d -DUST, NON-TECH. In addition, special workshops were also organized by experts from Microsoft on Cloud Computing, Robotics and
XNA-Gaming .
Among the dignitaries present on valedictory function were the Chief
Guest Shri J.K.Bhatt (IPS) (IGP, Vadodara Range) and Guests of Honour from
GTU and Industries Prof. M.N.Patel (Vice Chancelor,
Gujarat Technological University), Shri Mahendra R. Patel (C.E.O. – KEMROCK
Ind. & Exports Ltd.), Shri R.A.Oza (DGM, JCT Electronics Ltd.), and Shri
Aviraj Ajgekar (Regional Site Manager , Microsoft Corporation,
India)
