ANUSHTHAN'11
 
  
The Babaria Institute of Pharmacy has Organized a state level Pharma Fiesta for all pharmacy students of Gujarat in the name of "Anushthan'11" on 11th and 12th February 2011.

 

‘Anushthan-11’, a state level pharma fiesta organized and hosted by Babaria Institute of Pharmacy managed by Shri Krishna Education Charitable Trust (SKECT) on 11th and 12th of February. Chief guests Shri I. B. Peerzada (IAS), commissioner (Tech. Edu.), Government of Gujarat, Shri Mahendrbhai R. Patel, CEO, Kemrock Industries Ltd. special invitee H’ble Dr. Mukul Jain, Sr.Vice President, Zydus Cadila healthcare as well as Shri Sargam Gupta, M.D. of Gujarat Public School , guest of honor Shri Kanubhai Panchal, G.M. Quality Assurance, J. B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. graced the occasion. The inaugural ceremony started with ganesh vandana and welcome dance by the students of BIP. The inaugural lamp was lighted by the chief guests and other dignitaries. Shri I. B. Peerzada inaugurated the event with the bang of gong and released the souvenir.
 More than 600 students from 35 pharmacy colleges of Gujarat participated. Anushthan-11 was comprised of various technical events such as  technocrats, Sa re ga ma pharma, Brain browsing, El posteroi, Oral presentation, Elocution, I navigo, Artbeat, Scrap King, Dare to sell, Pictonary, Pharmatoons as well as non-technical events such as Computer gaming, Extempore, Time pass zone, Khatraon ke khiladi, Wobbling wall street. Besides that Blood donation camp was also organized on the first day. 
 
  Bhavik Satani of MSU won the first prize in oral presentation while Sigma institute was declared winner in Technocrats. Thakkar Parth of Sat Kaival College became Pharma Idol. Daxesh Patel and Huda Asif of Nirma Institute won the first prize in Brain Browsing and Scrap King respectively. Jamimin Shah of Babaria Institute won the first prize in Extempore while Jincy George of Kalol Institute of pharmacy won the prize in Pharmatoons. Shah Ankit of Nirma Instititute was wiiner in I Navigo. Team of Babaria Institute of Pharmacy won in the Pictionary whereas Surabhi Chotai of L. M. college got the first prize in the elocution competition.
 The valedictory session of the event was graced by the chief guest Shri R. B. Barad- Chief Exec. Authority-VUDA, guest of honor Shri T. Veerababu- Head R & D- Alembic, Vadodara and Shri Hardikbhai Ukani- Chief Operating Officer-Vasu pharma. Winners of various competitions were awarded prizes at the worthy hands of Shri Jagdishbhai Patel, Smt Kamalaben Patel, Shri R. B. Barad, Shri Hardikbhai Ukani, Shri T. Veerababu, Shri S. K. Patel, Dr. Pancholi and other dignitaries.
