  Youth Festival
 
 

Youth Festival was organized on 18-19 September 2007 for the Gujarat University South Zone by Babaria Institute of Technology (managed by Shree Krishna Educational Charitable Trust).

 

        

 


The participating youths hail from 67 colleges situated in the districts of Vadodara, Panchmahal and Dahod under the Gujarat University South Zone. About 550 students from these colleges and 1500 students from BIT had participated in the festival. During the festival, students will took part in competitions for 28 events which include Music, Dance, Literary, Theatrical, and Fine Arts.

 

  

 

    


The Youth Festival is organized every year with  the objective of nourishing, encouraging and exhibiting the talents of young students. The hosting of this festival at BIT has become a reality due the keen interest taken by Shri V K Chavda, Asstt Director of Gujarat University Youth Welfare Board, Shri Jagdishbhai Patel, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Shri Krishna Educational Charitable Trust and Prof. S. K. Agrawal, Director, BIT.

 

 
  

 

The Inaugural function of the Festival was held at on 18th September 2007 which was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr Parimal Trivedi as the Chief Guest and Vadodara District Collector Shri Rajiv Topno as the Guest of Honor. The Valedictory function of the festival was held on 19th September 2007 in the esteemed presence of Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat University Prof N K Patel as the Chief Guest and the Member Secretary of Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses Prof. M. N. Patel as the Guest of Honor.
